"Prionailurus bengalensis" | The Asian Leopard Cat weighs about 10 pounds (but can vary from 5 pounds to 16 pounds depending upon species).
There are many varieties of leopard cats, and their markings range greatly depending upon the terrain in which they live. All varieties have a spotted or ringed tail, and the tail has a black tip. The undersides are white, and they have two whitish stripes running up from the inside corners of the eyes. They have distinctive round, small ears, with a white spot on the backs of the ears. |
