"Panthera pardus" | 100 - 150 pounds, and up to 4 feet in length, excluding the tail.
Leopards are pale to yellowish brown in color, with dark brown spots forming lovely rosettes. Leopards can easily leap 10 feet in the air, and 22 feet in length. The infamous "black panther" is actually a very dark leopard, and can be very aggressive as the leopard mothers generally dislike dark cubs, and wean them early. |
