FOOTHILL FELINES MANKA!!

Cute leopard female with lots of color at 7 weeks old!

"Manka" is an adorable rosetted Bengal female, born March 20, 2003 to Double Champion Foothill Felines Manzanita, and Gogees Michabo of Foothill Felines. April S. here in the Sacramento area, fell in love with her and it sounds like it was certainly love at first sight for these two beautiful ladies!! April wrote us soon after she started living with Rico full-time: " Hi Holly! I just wanted to let you know that Rico (her nickname) has settled in wonderfully! I couldn't be happier. She is so well adjusted and she and my doggy Lucy have just taken to one another so well! YEAH!!!!!" And, a few days later, after a phone consultation about seeing a bit of blood in her stool: " She is doing so well! She did have one more episode yesterday but since then everything has been a-okay! She is getting along famously with the animals. She and Ike (the kitty) who was being so stubborn to warm up to her has sense become enchanted. They run and play and frolic. It is WONDERFUL to watch. She is so well adjusted ~ she sleeps through the night without a peep and has a great appetite. So I am beyond pleased. Thank you so much for your call the other night. It really put my mind at ease. She is doing great." Below are pictures that April sent us of her lovely girl Manka - we love receiving these photos!! Such a beautiful girl -- just right for her beautiful new Mommy, April.
