"Above are the Andean Mountain cat photos I took after spending 2 months at 14,500 ft on the Chile-Bolivia border. This is one of the most stunningly beautiful cats on Earth and is equally as elusive. We know only that its exists. We know virtually nothing of its ecology, behavior, or requirements. We strongly suspect it is very rare but this does not help us in planning a conservation strategy. And this is the situation for most small cats."
