From time to time, we do showcase special Bengal kittens or cats currently available from our breeding program on this page.

This is a fun way to learn more about our Foothill Felines Bengal and Savannah cats and kittens while waiting for our next litters to arrive!! (Note: These kittens from PREVIOUS litters have all been placed in loving homes and are no longer available for sale/adoption, but can still be admired!!) We are very fortunate at Foothill Felines to have many people who wish to purchase our Bengal/Savannah kittens and retired breeders. (See below for more information about RETIRED BREEDERS.) Because there is usually more demand for our kittens than the number of kittens we produce, we really try to learn as much as possible about the families we work with, and work hard to find the best possible kitten or kittens for each unique household. For those seriously interested in obtaining a Foothill Felines Bengal kitten, we strongly suggest you CONTACT US about getting on our waiting list. In order to do this, you should send us a $100.00 deposit for each Bengal kitten ($200.00 for each Savannah kitten), as when we do have kittens available, we contact those families who have sent in deposits first. These deposits are FULLY REFUNDABLE FOR ANY REASON UP UNTIL SUCH TIME AS A SPECIFIC KITTEN, PRICE AND TERMS HAVE BEEN MUTUALLY AGREED UPON BY YOU AND BY US. At that time (which is usually when the kitten is approximately 4-6 weeks old), the deposit is put towards the purchase price of the kitten, and is NO LONGER REFUNDABLE. Deposits can be checks or money orders, made out to "Foothill Felines". Be sure you include your home phone number and address, and your e-mail address so we can contact you, and include a note telling us what type of kitten you are looking for. Please send deposits to our P.O. Box address listed on every page of our website. You can also use Paypal to send us deposits; our Paypal address is "holly@hdw-inc.com". We are often asked how long our waiting list is; this really does depend upon how many kittens we have or will have soon, and what type of kittens are actually born, which will then be compared against the specific kitten requests from the people on our list. And, for those families who decide to purchase a pair of kittens at a time, we offer a 10% discount on each kitten.
We normally retire one to four adult Bengals and/or Savannahs each year, for a variety of reasons. These are super-friendly, gorgeous, most often show-quality Bengals whom we are retiring from breeding (in these cases, simply to enable us as a breeder to move forward with new bloodlines, which then also allows a magnificent animal a much better quality of life as a pampered pet). These special felines will already be spayed or neutered and ready to go to very special, loving homes, for an extremely reasonable price (usually for much less than the price of a pet quality kitten). We will keep our website updated, and feel free to contact us also. We also like to learn as much as we can about families interested in our Retired Breeders, so that we can make the best possible placements for our families and our cats. Tell us things like how many humans and other pets are currently living in your household -- are there children, and if so, what ages -- what type of home you have -- a bit about your lifestyle, whether everyone in the home works full-time outside the home, works at home, is retired, etc. We like to know how often you leave on vacations, and what you do with your pets while you are gone. Retired Breeders have their purr-sonalities well established, and by learning more about our families, we have a unique opportunity to really help make sure the placement goes well.
Please watch our website or CONTACT US at holly@hdw-inc.com for more information about availability of our kittens OR to discuss the possibility of adding a Retired Breeder to your family. Adopting a Retired Breeder is often actually a more convenient way to go for many families who may prefer a slightly older (but still a "kitten" at heart!) Bengal, and wish to bypass the sometimes hectic and very high energy young kitten stage. Families who are already on our Foothill Felines waiting list and those who have previously sent in deposits will have first selection of our Retired Breeders as well as any of our Available Kittens.
