Michabo was born on September 25, 1999, and came to us here at Foothill Felines at 10 weeks of age!! We are absolutely delighted with his exotic, dark beauty, his wonderful chirping noises and his fun, loving and trusting purr-sonality!! And, as you will see, this spectacular spotted, glittered F-6 male brings some wonderful new bloodlines to our own breeding program!!

Why the name "Michabo"?? Well, first off, we call him "Mich" for short. His real name, (MICH-ah-boh), is from North America, for the Algonquin god, Michabo. This god's name means "Great Hare." To the Algonquin tribes, Michabo was the creator of all humanity. Michabo also created the earth, as well as water, fish, deer and just about everything else. Perhaps Michabo's most formidable power was his shape-shifting ability. He could turn himself into virtually any animal shape at all at his own will.
In his pedigree, Michabo has such wonderful Bengal legends as QGC Joykatz Lamboz Diablo; CH Nola Lamborghini of Joykatz; CH Spotlight of Millwood; Nola Magic Marker of Kingsmark, CH Akerrs Sunburn of Gogees; Jodie Foster of Starbengal and MANY MORE!!! Also in his pedigree just a few generations back is a pair of fertile Bristol Cats. We shared many wonderful hours, days, weeks and months with this delightful Bengal boy, enjoying his babyhood with him. As an adult, he has greatly contributed to our Foothill Felines Bengal breeding program, adding rich color, glitter, clearing up the coats, and that wonderful long, saucer-eyed unique face of his. Michabo looks like he has "been through this life or another one before" with his passionate spirituality. He does not carry the recessive gene for the marble pattern; we know that any kittens sired by Michabo will be spotted.
