FOOTHILL FELINES YUKIKO OF HAMPTON BENGALS!!

Beautiful sel mink leopard female with lots of color at 4 weeks old!

"Yukiko" is a stunning seal mink spotted female Bengal, born April Fools' Day, 2004 to Regional Winner Quad Champion Foothill Felines Mochamelo, and Simbaspride "Major" Mews of Foothill Felines. Janie Winn of Hampton Bengals was hoping for a snow Bengal daughter out of Mochamelo for her own highly selective breeding program, and we were thrilled to be able to offer this kitten to her, and even more thrilled when she accepted!!

Janie knew that introducing new kittens to the other cats of the household can be an adventure -- and the first picture below she sent to me titled, "Eeeek - another cat!" In Janie's words: "I carried Kashi in my arms into the room where Yukiko is staying. I still have not allowed them to get near one another, but wanted to see the reactions. Kashi was cool as a cucumber. This first picture is Yukiko's reaction to Kashi's invading her space." When I replied rather brilliantly (I thought): "She was startled?", Janie responded: "Startled was putting it lightly!!! She is doing just great. She sleeps in my bedroom & had been confined there since her arrival. This afternoon is her first visit with my vet and I can't wait for his reaction to her. Once he has given the "all clear" I plan to slowly start the "family" introductions. Last night was just a visual. She would really love to have a companion to play with as I'm sure she's wondering where her siblings went. We just love her and thank you for allowing us to adopt her. I posted a picture on the "friends" page to share with the group. Great job Holly, thanks again." We are so glad that Janie and Hampton Bengals are pleased with their newest snow Bengal princess, and hope Yukiko brings them much enjoyment and love, as well as many beautiful babies!!
